Empowering People
through Information Technology
Access or lack of access to IT is fast becoming the measure of
marginalization in an increasingly interconnected world. IT is
being integrated in the operation of PBSP’s programs and
will be the focus of educational programs for the poor.
PBSP works to provide greater access to IT and create markets
for SMEs and the agriculture sector. It is also complementary
to its goal of creating a competitive workforce.

“These
plans… will not in and of themselves achieve the results
we hope for. PBSP can only succeed with the undiminished
support and consistent commitment of member companies. We
need them to stand firm—to remain active and patient—because
it is precisely in challenging periods such as these that
society needs the most support.”
