Linking Worlds Training Course Series

The Linking Worlds Training Course Series aims to cultivate the right knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable practitioners in harnessing and mainstreaming employee volunteering as an expression of their companies’ corporate citizenship. It is composed of four stand-alone whole-day courses

It is a product of consultations with professional volunteer managers from national and international volunteer organizations and learnings from the experiences and practices of local companies.

Training Methodology
The training course combines various methodologies such as lectures, case presentations, workshops, structured learning exercises and facilitated discussions. Action planning sessions are conducted at the end of each course.

PBSP will provide advisory services to assist participants in implementing their action plans. An electronic discussion group (“e-group”) is also available as an interactive forum for participants to consult and compare notes.

Training Participants
Community Relations, Human Resources, Employee Relations managers or heads of units leading employee volunteer activities will find this course valuable.

Rank-and-file employees who supervise employee volunteer groups may also participate.

There are prescribed pre-training requirements to aid companies in assessing their status and needs and in choosing which courses fits in to their capabilities and needs.
