Business and Environment
The Supply Chain Partnerships for Environmental Management
and Pollution Prevention Program aims to set high environmental
standards on the efficient use of water, energy and raw materials
as well as proper waste management. The program also supports Small
and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in implementing good environmental practices.
The Water for Life for Metro Manila and Southern
Luzon provinces
Program aims to ensure supply and access to clean water for
Metro Manila and nearby provinces; restore biodiversity and maintain
ecological balance in the 5 watershed areas; and provide livelihood
and income opportunities for the communities in a manner that is culturally
acceptable, appropriate, environment-friendly and
economically sustainable. Aside from reforestation and livelihood,
there is also a training component, which focuses on values
formation to enhancement of technical skills such
as forest management.
