The following CC programs have been identified for possible SCOPE assistance (but are not limited to):

Poverty Alleviation
Skills Training and Business Mentoring for Local Communities
Population Management
Vocational-Technical Training for Trainers/Teachers

Environmental Protection and Enhancement
Reforestation
Solid and Liquid Waste Management
Coastal Zone Management

Corporate-Community Business Links
Promotion of labor, health, safety, quality and environmental management among local community-based business partners
Local sourcing of raw material, labor and services

Supply Chain Management
Training and mentoring on labor, health, safety standards and environmental management practices/standards

Criteria for program assessment
The proposed program should:
1.
Be implemented in either Visayas or Mindanao
2. Demonstrate alignment with the partner’s vision, mission and goals
3. Benefit the partner’s business bottom line and stakeholders such as the local community, local government and micro, small and medium business partners;
4. Enhance economic and social development and environmental sustainability;
5. Promote multi-stakeholder partnerships;
6. Illustrate significant contribution of adviser (for technical assistance programs); and efficient use of DED financial assistance
7. Be sustainable over the long-term
