PBSP members and various donors and partners distributed relief assistance to community partners.
PBSP members and various donors and partners distributed relief assistance to around 450 farmers and their families from PBSP-assisted and partner communities in Carranglan, Gabaldon, and San Isidro, Nueva Ecija and San Miguel, Bulacan who were severely hit by Typhoon Karding.
Families received food packs which contained 10 kilos of rice. brown sugar, coffee, biscuits, cans of sardines and corned beef, iodized salt, 6L bottled water, blankets, and bath soap.
This activity is implemented under PBSP’s #TulongKarding, in partnership with CEMEX Philippines Foundation, AAI Charity Foundation Inc., Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Sycip, Salazar, Hernandez & Gatmaitan, Fluor Daniel, Inc. (Philippines), NEO Office PH, The Bellevue Manila, Tadeco ko Bai TADECO, Unilever Philippines, and Monark Foundation.
Present during the distribution were representatives from local government units of San Miguel, Bulacan and San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. Fluor employee volunteers joined the San Miguel, Bulacan activity.
The assistance is part of PBSP’s continuing rehabilitation efforts for families affected by Typhoon Odette in Bohol.
