Upskilling and Workforce Development

We provide the unemployed and underserved sectors with skills training and employment opportunities.

Lack of job opportunities and increase in unemployed Filipinos continue to become the pressing problems in the country. The pandemic made it more challenging to find work as job opportunities become more limited, with businesses shutting down or preferring more qualified candidates.

PBSP together with its members implemented various livelihood and skills development training programs to assist Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs),out-of-school youth, displaced workers, and other marginalized sectors to be equipped with skills and competencies needed in various industries.
