The mobile van clinic will basically provide free chest x-ray, specimen collection and transportation, Electrocardiogram (ECG), and other primary care services to various cities and municipalities in Western Visayas.
As the country’s largest business-led NGO, PBSP, through its Advancing Client-centered Care and Expanding Sustainable Services for TB (ACCESS TB) Project, together with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria recently turned over two mobile van clinics to the Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) of Western Visayas in Iloilo City.
During the DOH-CHD’s Heath Festival, Arnyl G. Araneta, PBSP ACCESS TB Program Director, highlighted that ACCESS TB Project will continuously support the DOH-CHD Western Visayas in providing access to basic healthcare services and treating people living with TB in the region.

The ceremony was led by Dr. Ma. Sophia S. Pulmones, Assistant Regional Director; Dr. Bea Camille Natalaray, Medical Officer II; Natalya Bogach, The Global Fund Program Officer; Petra Samways, The Global Fund Specialists on PSEAH; Petra Fortsstrom de Leon, The Global Fund Specialists on PSEAH; Arnyl G. Araneta, PBSP ACCESS TB Program Director; Agatha Cristy Beo, PBSP ACCESS TB Regional Team Leader, and and Doreen Denorte, Ethics Officer of Bureau of International Health Cooperation.
This initiative is part of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, through its COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) program to scale up the country’s pandemic response, and support major interventions in achieving a better health system.
