PBSP ACCESS TB, together with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, visited one of the TB and HIV sites in Iloilo City.
The Global Fund representatives led by Natalya Bogach, Program Officer, Petra Samways and Petra Fortsstrom de Leon, Specialists on Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH), and Doreen Denorte, Ethics Officer of Bureau of International Health Cooperation went to Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC) and Rajah Community Center by Family Planning of the Philippines (FPOP).
The one-day activity aims to identify key challenges and look into the implementation of TB and HIV activities in the region. The team visited the Satellite Treatment Center (STC) and Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (PMDT) site in WVMC.
