PLDT and PBP plant trees in Buhisan and Marikina Watersheds for Chairman Manny V Pangilinan's 75th birthday

In celebration of Chairman Manuel V Pangilinan’s 75th birthday, PLDT and PBSP planted fruit-bearing trees in the Buhisan and Marikina Watersheds.

PLDT and PBSP engaged the Dulhogan People’s Association to plant 75 seedlings in Buhisan Watershed and Forest Reserve in Cebu. Meanwhile, the Tulungan sa Kabuhayan ng Calawis, Inc. (TSKC) planted 75 fruit-bearing trees in Barangay Calawis, Antipolo City, Rizal.

For the past years, PLDT has adopted a total of 18 hectares and is continuously working with PBSP and farmers organizations in the two watershed areas.

Over 100 stakeholders from business, government, academe, and non-government organizations convened at the third Water Forum organized by Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) through the Water Alliance and with the support of First Gen Corporation and Intellicare (Asalus).
