Reynaldo Antonio D. Laguda
Reynaldo Antonio D. Laguda is the Executive Director of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). PBSP is the country’s largest corporate-led non-profit organization that unites like-minded business leaders and their companies behind social advocacies that aim to make the benefits of business activity more felt by an increasingly larger constituency.
Mr. Laguda brings with him over 20 years of professional experience in the NGO, corporate, and government sectors. Prior to joining PBSP, he was with the Department of Education (DepED) as Undersecretary for Finance and Administration from September 2015 to June 2016 and as Assistant Secretary/Chief of Staff to Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro, FSC from July 2010 to August 2015. While working in the Department, he also took on the oversight role for IT and Management Information Systems, Public Affairs and Communications, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.
In his stint with the corporate sector, Mr. Laguda has worked for several companies namely, Pag-Asa Steel Works, Watson Wyatt Philippines, Jollibee Foods Corporation, and First Gen Corporation. He is a strong advocate of volunteerism and engagement, having been a former volunteer and program officer of the Jesuit Volunteers Philippines (JVP) Foundation, Inc.
Mr. Laguda holds a Master’s degree in Business Management, major in Finance, from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor’s degree, major in Psychology, from the Ateneo de Manila University.
