Babae: Malusog. Ligtas. Handa. The Safe Motherhood Caravans aims to educate women of reproductive age (WRA) on Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) services such as prenatal and post natal consultations, facility-based delivery, delivery by skilled birth attendant, exclusive breastfeeding, child health, family planning, and saving for health.
During the caravans, WRAs are educated and made aware of the services available for them in order to improve their health-seeking behavior and increase actual utilization of the services related to MNCHN.
The initiative is part of Intellicare’s support to PBSP’s Safe Motherhood Program dubbed as “Babae: Malusog. Ligtas. Handa.”
