PBSP takes an active participation in the implementation of activities under The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2017-2022 to contribute to the fight against malnutrition among children, through its supplemental feeding program dubbed as “NutriSapat, Batang Angat.”
The Supplemental Feeding Program helps improve the health, growth, and development of the undernourished children in the community by providing them supplemental dietary support for 120 days or six months. The program is anchored in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for promoting Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition.
This 120-day feeding program will provide all 100 grades 4 to 6 learners with a daily balanced meal that complies with the Cycle Menu recommended by the FNRI
