DLSU joins PBSP's Balik Baterya Program with Motolite

Since 2006, the Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program has ensured proper recycling of 11,035 tons of used lead-acid batteries from 200 companies and part of the funds were used to complete at least 181 community projects nationwide.

DLSU joins PBSP's Balik Baterya Program with Motolite

Representatives from De La Salle University (DLSU), Oriental and Motolite Marketing Corporation (OMMC) and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to implement Balik Baterya Program to further its commitment to environmental stewardship. Balik Baterya Program is OMMC’s flagship project, which aims to provide a platform for the private sector to dispose of used lead-acid batteries (ULABs) properly.

Present during the MOU signing are DLSU Vice President for Administration Ms. Kai Shan Fernandez, , Oriental & Motolite Marketing Corporation ULAB Manager Mr. Francis Isip and PBSP Executive Director Mr. Elvin Ivan Uy.
