Okada Manila donates Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program funds to assist teachers
Okada Manila’s Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program funds were recently used to purchase 600 reams of bond paper and packs of face masks for teachers from Mask4AllPH.
The 6 school recipients are Don Galo ES, Fourth Estate ES, Camp Claudio ES, San Antonio HS, Moonwalk HS and Paranaque NHS.
Receiving the donations from PBSP Project Officer Bennard Simbulan are DepEd Division of Paranaque’s Dr. Violeta M. Gonzales, OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and Mr. Max Santos, Resource Mobilization Focal Person.
The Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program has been supporting public schools for the past 15 years. The Program involves collection and proper recycling of used lead-acid batteries. Funds generated support various corporate social responsibility projects of the company generators.
The learning session discussed the general overview of generative AI and its concepts including some of the underlying technologies, applications, use cases, and the potential benefits for users, as well as understanding its ethical considerations including transparency, bias, and privacy.
