DMDP, PBSP visit Davao for Cacao Project

DMDP, PBSP visit Davao for Cacao Project

Philippine Business for Social Progress and Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP) paid a courtesy call on Barangay Captain Ivy Marie Lumandas-Fullitan of Brgy. Dominga, Calinan District in Davao City last November 11, 2022.

Present during the courtesy call were PBSP Project Managers Madeline Gerzon, Jocelyn Tionloc, Head of Grant Management and Implementation, Gari Enriquez and DMDP's Marie-Louise Appelquist, Mikkel Klim, and Mike Dahlgaard.

On the same day, PBSP also conducted another grafting training to Dominga Farmers Association (DFA) as part of the backyard nursery initiatives and enhance the quality of the production.

The project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) through Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP), started in March 2020 to provide an opportunity for farmers to start a one-hectare cacao farm through support from financing partner Agronomika Finance Corporation (AFC) coupled with handholding technical support by PBSP.
