Tisa National High School receives a STEM Laboratory

Dow Chemical Philippines, Inc., turned over yesterday a newly constructed Senior High School STEM Laboratory to Tisa National High School in Cebu City. Despite the situation in Cebu due to the pandemic, the STEM Lab was completed in 2020. Equipped with the necessary laboratory tools, equipment, and materials, the students will soon enjoy actual practical applications in the laboratory.

The STEM Laboratory Refurbishment in Tisa National High School is part of Dow’s continuing commitment to help provide better learning conditions to learners and teachers of its adopted schools and various public schools in the country, in partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress.

The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) convened around 30 members of the Population, Health and Environment (PHE) Network and key stakeholders from the House of Representatives and the Senate to discuss the current state of the country’s population, health and environment. The event also included a workshop on developing the national policy agenda on population, health, environment, and way forward for the PHE network.
