Tisa National High School receives a STEM Laboratory
Dow Chemical Philippines, Inc., turned over yesterday a newly constructed Senior High School STEM Laboratory to Tisa National High School in Cebu City. Despite the situation in Cebu due to the pandemic, the STEM Lab was completed in 2020. Equipped with the necessary laboratory tools, equipment, and materials, the students will soon enjoy actual practical applications in the laboratory.
The STEM Laboratory Refurbishment in Tisa National High School is part of Dow’s continuing commitment to help provide better learning conditions to learners and teachers of its adopted schools and various public schools in the country, in partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress.
Since 2006, the Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program has ensured proper recycling of 11,035 tons of used lead-acid batteries from 200 companies and part of the funds were used to complete at least 181 community projects nationwide.
