PBSP and its partners provide hot meals to families affected by Typhoon Ulysses
Before the year ended, around 5,760 hot meals were provided to Typhoon Ulysses-affected residents of Brgy Malanday, Marikina. The first week of meal distribution was funded by Philippine EDS Techno-Services and employees of Roxas Holdings, Inc. and Conduent. The second week was funded by Accenture and its partners.
The PBSP-Fluor mobile kitchen was also set up in Malanday National High School. Distribution of the meals was conducted in partnership with the local government of Marikina.
Since 2006, the Motolite-PBSP Balik Baterya Program has ensured proper recycling of 11,035 tons of used lead-acid batteries from 200 companies and part of the funds were used to complete at least 181 community projects nationwide.
