PBSP, through its Advancing Client-centered Care and Expanding Sustainable Services for TB (ACCESS TB) Project, joined the launching of the Department of Health’s KonsulTayo in Manaoag, Pangasinan today, November 18.
The 'KonsulTayo Arangkada' campaign is part of the primary health care initiatives of DOH to provide free chest x-ray, specimen collection and transportation, Electrocardiogram (ECG), and other health care services to the residents of Pangasinan.
The event was led by DOH Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire, PBSP Director for Operations Kristine J. Rivadelo, PBSP Supply Chain Manager Christian Dimapindan, DOH Regional Officers, and Mayor Jeremy Rosario of Manaoag, Pangasinan.
This initiative is part of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, through its COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) program to scale up the country’s ongoing pandemic response, and support major interventions in achieving a better health system.
In commemoration of World Tuberculosis Day, PBSP ACCESS TB and Siemens Healthineers have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate TB case detection and support the country’s fight for a TB-free future.
