PBSP ACCESS TB and DOH-CHD CALABARZON continue to strengthen the TB control program and ensure that the diagnostic facilities are accessible and equipped with necessary tools to accurately detect TB cases in the region.
PBSP ACCESS TB, together with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria supports the Department of Health – Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) in finding and treating people living with TB in various cities and municipalities of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (CALABARZON).
Through the KonsulTayo mobile van clinic, PBSP ACCESS TB and DOH-CHD CALABARZON continue to strengthen the TB control program and ensure that the diagnostic facilities are accessible and equipped with necessary tools to accurately detect TB cases in the region. The mobile van will also provide free chest x-ray, specimen collection and transportation, Electrocardiogram (ECG), and other primary care services.

This initiative is part of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, through its COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) program to scale up the country’s ongoing pandemic response, and support major interventions in achieving a better health system in the country.
PBSP, through the ACCESS TB project, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals (Phils.), Inc.
