Okada Manila Tree Planting Activity

Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc., which operates the 5-star-rated integrated resort Okada Manila and one of our partners in PBSP-Motolite Balik Baterya Program, continues the implementation of various CSR projects. Through the donation of their company's used lead-acid batteries (ULABs) to the Balik Baterya Program, Okada Manilawas able to fund both education and environment projects in partnership with PBSP.

In 2021, Okada Manila’s first project was the donation of 600 reams of bond papers to six public elementary schools in the Department of Education - Division of Parañaque. For this year, Okada Manila adopted the Marikina Watershed and donated 625 seedlings, providing livelihood to farmers of the Malayang Samahan ng mga Katutubo ng Antipolo (MASAKA).

Present in the activity are Okada Manila's representatives including Digital Marketing and Property Communications Associate Director Niza Forschler, Facility Management Assistant Director Marieta Basila, Facility Management Manager Shin Zamora, Digital Marketing Associate Dan Amahan, Facility Management SQEW Engineer Louie Cornejo, and Corporate Marketing and Communications' photographer Mark Jacob.
