Bangko Kabayan joins PBSP and Action Against Hunger's Digital Challenge to fight the causes and effects of malnutrition and hunger.
Last year, PBSP in partnership with Action Against Hunger Foundation Philippines launched a campaign called "Digital Challenge for Companies" which combined sports, solidarity, and employee engagement.
Bangko Kabayan Foundation, Inc. (BKFI) is our first member company to take on the challenge. Employees from Bangko Kabayan's Executive Department, Human Resources, CSR, CSD, BK Branches in Ibaan, Talisay and BK bikers from 2nd floor and Batangas branch, participated through cycling, running, and walking.
The BKFI team gave their all-out support for the challenge knowing that it will transform their physical activity into donations which will help in vulnerable situations. The team surpass their 2,000 KM target and gained a total of 2,583.3 KM.
BKFI's Digital Challenge ended last February 7 with a short fun run and zumba session to welcome the BKFI bikers who participated in the challenge. A short awarding ceremony was attended by BK’s former President Atty. Francis Ganzon and BKFI President Maria Teresa Ganzon.
Through this campaign, BKFI enables PBSP and Action Against Hunger to fight the causes and effects of malnutrition and hunger.
