The assistance is part of PBSP’s continuing rehabilitation efforts for families affected by Typhoon Odette in Bohol.
PBSP and Give2Asia Country Advisor Hanna Pacua visited Brgy. San Isidro, Ubay Bohol, to turn over 12 motorized fishing boats, 1 paddle boat and livestock (37 goats and 18 pigs) to the community’s farmers and fishermen organizations. Vegetable seeds and farming tools were also provided.

Present during the event were PBSP Director for Operations Kristine Rivadelo, Senior Program Officer Maria Bunao, Ubay Municipal Agricultural Officer Marianito Doydora and Municipal Administrator Marino Diacor. This project, including earlier assistance on family packs and shelter repair kits funded by various donors, was made possible through working with the office of Brgy. Capt. Rodrigo J. Cutamora.
The engagement is part of the newly-launched Farmers Grow, with the goal to provide full value chain assistance to farmers.
