Farmers from Battung Tuao, Cagayan receive assistance from Wells Fargo and PBSP
Wells Fargo, in partnership with PBSP, distributed one-time provision of food packs and farm inputs such as sakoline, spraygun, 40kg. of rice seeds, and shovel each for the identified 100 farmers of Rapido Irrigators Association, Inc. The project also extended its support to an additional 215 members of the Association provided with sakoline and 20kg. of rice seeds.
Located in Cagayan, the farmers of RAPIDO have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and their living conditions further exacerbated by the onslaught of recent typhoons. Aligned with Wells Fargo's commitment to building an inclusive and sustainable recovery for all, this assistance will aid the farmers in (re)starting their livelihoods and supporting agriculture in the province.
