More than 150 Senior High School teachers boarded IBM's Boosting Education and Skills in Senior High Schools (BESSHS) SkillsBuild program. The initiative is in partnership with the Department of Education - National Capital Region through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) and Philippine Business for Social Progress.

The SHS teachers will serve as the focal persons in their respective schools re-echoing the program and ensure school accounts are created and students' successful registration in the platform.
Present during the event were IBM CSR Manager Ms. Andrea Escalona, DepEd NCR Education Program Supervisors Mr. Andrew Tan and Dr. Ramil Dorol, IBM P-Tech Industry Program Manager and Program Manager for IBM Skillsbuild ASEANZK Ms. Abigail Lesaca, and PBSP CC & CSR Manager Ms. Khairon-Niza Magundacan.
The conference is part of the many interventions implemented by ABC+ to support DepEd in improving learning outcomes in reading, math, and socio-emotional skills of Filipino children in the early grades (Kindergarten to Grade 3).
