Field Visit at Lionheart Farms Philippines Corporation

Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Bai-Ani Foundation, and Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP) made a field visit to the Lionheart Farms Philippines Corporation in Rizal, Palawan to see the actual day-to-day operation of the farms, employees, and coconut farmers.

The activity is part of the More with Less (MWL) project of PBSP, in partnership with the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

MWL is a five-year project, implemented in Palawan, Quezon, and Lanao del Norte which aims to stimulate higher levels of economic activity in the coconut sector through technological upgrading and innovation, and by focusing on safe and labor-intensive production of high-value added products from coconut in hopes to contribute in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8.
