Receiving the award on behalf of PBSP was Khairon-Niza Magundacan, Manager for Corporate Citizenship and CSR, and Rochelle Bantigue, Sr Program Officer for Environment, while Abby Quintos, Senior Operations Director, and Atty. Kevin Luke Mizon, Legal Counsel accepted the award on behalf of Probe. Their presence at the ceremony represented the shared commitment of both organizations to their continuing partnership and to the communities they serve.

The award recognizes Probe’s continuing support for the island community of Tingloy, Batangas, with PBSP serving as implementing partner in collaboration with the local government and community stakeholders.

The partnership began with Probe’s support for Ready for School activities in Tingloy, providing children with essential school supplies and learning support as they prepared for the school year. Since that first engagement, Probe has continued its commitment to the community through Ready for School activities year after year, while also supporting other initiatives that respond to local needs.

The partnership also expanded to include the provision of a potable water system in Tingloy, addressing an essential community need and helping improve access to safe and reliable water. Major initiatives this year have included furnishing a community library and making it conducive for reading and learning, provision of laptops and books. Aside from Ready for school, students of San Juan Elementary School also received student packs and P.E. uniforms, further supporting children’s education and learning.

The Ready for School activities have been strengthened by the active participation of Probe employee volunteers, who consistently share their time and energy in engaging with children, families, and the wider community.

The recognition celebrates not only individual projects, but the continuing partnership among Probe, PBSP, the local government, and the Tingloy community. What began with Ready for School has grown into a sustained collaboration that continues to respond to community needs and create opportunities for children and families.

From supporting children as they prepare for school, to improving access to potable water and investing in education and learning, the partnership continues to build on its shared commitment to making a meaningful and lasting difference in Tingloy.
