On December 16, 1970, 50 business leaders founded PBSP and committed to help in the empowerment of the poor and self-reliance of communities.
For five decades, we led the business sector’s efforts to reduce poverty in the Philippines. We have implemented projects on health, education, environment, and livelihood that helped uplift the lives of Filipinos in need.
As we celebrate 50 years in the social development sector, PBSP reaffirms its commitment to the empowerment of the poor and self-reliance of communities.
This year’s theme was in consideration of the national effort to become an upper-middle-income country by 2025.
