PBSP launches STEM Education for Sustainability program

The initiative aassist 40 Grade 5 students and teachers of the school through a series of activities that will showcase sustainability in STEM and introduce STEM as an exciting field of study and a rewarding future career path for the Filipino youth. Tprogram highlights STEM’s contribution to sustainability and the achievement of SDGs and aims to instill its importance to younger generations.

Sharing her experience as guest speaker, Ms. Maria Yzabell Angel Palma, a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering at De La Salle University and a Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) 2021 honoree for Science and Technology and the inventor and founder of AirDisc Cooling Technologies, encouraged students to consider STEM as a career development in the future. She also explained how these fields will contribute in finding solutions to various problems our country faces.
