For the past two decades, PBSP has served as one of the key players in TB control management in the Philippines. The Advancing Client-centered Care and Expanding Sustainable Services for TB (ACCESS TB) project, funded by The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, aims to reduce TB prevalence, incidence, and mortality by providing comprehensive quality TB care among Filipinos.
ACCESS TB project provides diagnostics and treatment services to both drug-susceptible and multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) cases, expanded access to hundreds of MDR-TB diagnostic and treatment centers , engaged thousands of private doctors, trained thousands of healthcare providers, and cured thousands of patients through this project.
Over the last two decades, PBSP has been one of the leading players in the management of TB in the Philippines.
